BROOKS SMITH
BROOKS SMITH
For a talk and booksigning with either of his books Facts & Legends of the Hills of Richmond, or Songlines of Richmond
Brooks Smith is a lawyer by profession but a writer by heart. His essays, which have aired regularly on WCVE Public Radio since 2005, celebrate the nearly forgotten storylines of Richmond. Described as whimsical, irregular and prose-like by his many fans, Brooks' essays show the tenacity of a historian, the curiosity of a journalist and the soul of a poet. Brooks practices environmental law at Hunton & Williams LLP, and lives in the City with his wife and two children, Emma and Ethan.
