George Bruner previously authored Celebrating 100 Years – A Journey of Faith, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, and Celebrating The Byrd Theatre, one of the few remaining movie palaces. George retired from careers with Bell Atlantic and from 17 years as CEO of Bruner and Associates, an association management and meeting professional company. He currently pursues his primary love, writing and historical research. George has served on the Kanawha Canal Restoration, Flood Wall, and Richmond Flag Committees.
