Kate Chenery Tweedy is the daughter of Penny Chenery, owner of Secretariat. Kate is an attorney, teacher, lecturer and author of Secretariat’s Meadow, which is now in its 6th printing. Kate is active in promoting the legacy of Secretariat. Leeanne Meadows Ladin is co-author of Secretariat’s Meadow. Leeanne is currently Tourism Manager for the State Fair of Virginia, with her focus being the grounds of Secretariat’s birthplace, the Meadow.
