Richmond was named one of the top 3 “Best Tennis Towns” in America in 2010 in a national contest sponsored by the USTA.  While that distinction reflects the outstanding people, facilities, and programs of today’s contemporary tennis community, Richmond boasts a tremendous legacy of tennis excellence dating back many years.  For the first time ever in one collection, the stories will be told of the many legendary people, places, and events that have made Richmond a great tennis town for decades.  More than 200 photos, most of which have never been seen, offer a magnificent visual journey to complement this special story in one of America's Best Tennis Towns.
